Laura Wilson

Education

Laura Wilson earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where she focused her studies on criminal litigation and trial advocacy. During law school, she served as a student attorney with the Georgetown Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic, representing indigent clients in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia under faculty supervision. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating with honors.

Honors & Memberships

Over the course of her career, Laura has been recognized for her dedication to criminal defense and client advocacy. She has been included in Super Lawyers Rising Stars for the Washington, DC area and received recognition for excellence in trial advocacy early in her career. Laura is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), the DC Bar Criminal Law & Individual Rights Section, and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, where she represents clients in both state and federal courts.
